  We provide long-term capital with a core focus on supporting the growth and success of our companies, tailored to fit the needs of the current owner, the goals of the management team, and the business' best interests.

  We believe in supporting existing management and do not bring in outsiders to run a company. As a result, we want our executives to be owners, and to view themselves as such. We make sure ownership is in the hands of the individuals driving the success of business, because no one knows their business and industry better than they do.

  With an owner-manager philosophy, we only invest in firms that already have strong, capable management teams and an internal infrastructure open to continued development. We seek to support the corporate finance activities of our partner companies so that the management team can focus on what they do best - running the business. Our goal is to preserve the culture and integrity of the firm while achieving desired results and sharing in the rewards together.

• Experience

  Our Managing Directors have led or participated in 34 companies representing over $395 million of invested capital, and have provided advisory services on hundreds of transactions. With experience in a broad range of industries, ORG's Managing Directors have served as an Executive or Board Member with more than 30 companies.

  As an extension of our effort to support our companies, our Executive Committee takes an active role in providing significant industry expertise and relationships to our companies. Members of the committee often serve direct roles with our companies as directors or advisors. Our Executive Committee is comprised of business leaders who bring decades of industry, private equity, consulting, and investment banking experience to assessing and advising companies. Like all of ORG's stakeholders, they share a commitment to privately-owned businesses and are passionate about supporting ORG companies.

  Our team of professionals is comprised of individuals with substantial and diverse research, investment, and advisory experience. Averaging ten years of experience each in multiple disciplines, our Associates and Vice Presidents bring knowledge and enthusiasm to our activities.

• Patience

  Our investment capital is provided principally by patient, long-term investors. As a result we seek to avoid high levels of debt and employ very flexible and creative investment structures so that the cash flows of the company can be used to pursue strategies for long-term growth. We believe the highest return on company cash should be to support organic growth and acquisitions rather than debt repayment. For this reason, we only look at opportunities where profitable growth can be achieved (through product, capability or geographic expansion, market share growth, or acquisitions) to lead to or ensure industry leadership.
